Perry has earned a reputation as principle-driven conservative serving in the Texas Legislature. As the first freshman appointed to a chairmanship in the senate since 1993, Perry has been been a champion for water and property rights leading the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Rural Affairs. As the author of the bill to eliminate Sanctuary Cities in Texas, Perry has lead the charge to stop illegal immigration in our state.
